Bendigo has many local attractions all within walking distance from Bendigo Cottages.
From the historic Central Deborah mine and talking tram tours, the Chinese Museum and Joss house, Rosalind Park and Botanic Gardens right through to bush walking treks and trails.
Bendigo is home to a number of high quality galleries and art studios, including the famous Bendigo Art Gallery one of Australia’s oldest and largest galleries and the Latrobe Art Institute both located in the arts precinct in View Street. Also, the Arnold Street Gallery, Gail Taverner Studio and the Bendigo Pottery, which houses a number of local artists and artisans.
Bendigo Features a number of markets including: Prince of Wales Showgrounds Market every Sunday morning, Community Farmer's Market, Trove Maker’s Market.
